Knowledge transfer in software development teams using gamification: A systematic literature review

Artículo

Resumen

This article introduces GamifiK, a gamification-based strategy created to improve knowledge transfer in software development teams by encouraging collaboration. The study addresses common challenges in software projects, including poor communication, low motivation to share knowledge, and difficulty making useful knowledge available across the team. GamifiK combines knowledge management practices, gamification elements, and collaboration as a soft skill to support the creation, sharing, and application of knowledge in agile environments. A pilot study conducted in an academic setting showed promising results, suggesting that the strategy can help teams share knowledge more effectively and has potential for implementation in real software industry contexts.
